How it works
-
Pick a design
Start from a house, a station, a bridge or any of the others.
-
Set it to fit
Set the size in prototype feet and choose your scale. The 3D preview updates as you type, and designing is always free.
-
Download and print
You get an STL for each part, plates laid out for your printer’s bed and a 3MF, or a Blender file with every part named. These are digital files, printed on your own 3D printer. Nothing ships.
Design for free, pay for the files
Every design, its settings and the 3D preview are free. Credits pay for the files. A model costs credits by its size and complexity, and you see the cost before you download.
Downloading a model you’ve paid for again costs nothing, even for another printer. A new account gets 5 free credits.
Credit packs
Buy once, no membership needed. Bought credits never expire while your account is open.
| Credits | Price |
|---|---|
| 10 credits | $15 |
| 25 credits | $30 |
| 60 credits | $60 |
Memberships
Paid in advance. Renews automatically until you cancel. Unused credits carry over up to the limit shown.
| Level | Credits a month | Carry-over limit | Monthly | Yearly |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Apprentice | 10 | 30 | $12 | $120 |
| Journeyman | 25 | 75 | $24 | $240 |
| Master | 60 | 180 | $48 | $480 |
A Blender file costs twice the print files and includes them. With Master, it costs the same as the print files.
Prices are in US dollars and don’t include sales tax. Where a tax is owed, it’s added at checkout and shown before you pay. Payments are taken by Stripe, and we never see or store your card number.
Refunds, cancellations and disputes
Delivery
Everything we sell is a digital file. Nothing ships. Your files download from your account, and a model you’ve paid for can be downloaded again at no charge.
Refunds
A payment for credits isn’t refundable, except under the print guarantee or where the law requires a refund.
Print guarantee
If a file you paid for fails to print, tell us with a photo of the failed print. If we find the fault was in the file, not in the printer, material or settings, we give back the credits the model cost, up to 3 times in any 12 months. The guarantee gives back credits, not money.
Canceling a membership
Cancel any time in Settings. Your membership runs to the end of the period you’ve paid for, with no further charges, and you keep the credits already in your account. We don’t refund the rest of a period when you cancel.
Disputed charges
If you think a charge is wrong, email hello@tinytownmodels.com first and we’ll look into it. If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, we may take back the credits that payment bought and pause downloads on the account until the dispute is settled.
Sign-up credits
A new account gets 5 free credits once its email address is verified, once for each person.
